Job description
Lomography is looking for a curious, motivated, and highly organized individual to help administrate our global Community, including photo content, competitions, and international social media channels.
As the Community & Social Media Coordinator, you will connect with our passionate Community worldwide and work closely with the Marketing team at our Vienna HQ, gaining hands-on experience across all online communication channels. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who has an affinity for words, the arts, and culture and wishes to work in a multicultural environment with a large community of creative individuals!

Originally established in 1992 by a group of offbeat students as an arts movement, but fuelled by fiery passion and burning curiosity, the Lomographic Society soon grew into an international venture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and engage with the Lomography Community worldwide, including moderation, spam monitoring, and identifying inspiring content from Community uploads
Spearhead selection of daily Community winners (Photo, LomoHome, LomoWall of the Week)
Assist with the creation, coordination, and evaluation of Lomography photo competitions
Monitor Lomography’s presence across social media channels to identify emerging creatives and potential collaborators
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the social media content calendar across all channels (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, etc.), including auxiliary platforms, in line with campaigns, seasonal themes, and product launches
Create engaging social media content and support copywriting while ensuring a consistent tone of voice, working closely with designers, in-house photographers, and videographers to support the production of social media assets
Support and collaborate with the Social Media & Community Manager to brainstorm, develop, and execute social media initiatives

Job requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent written and spoken English
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field preferred
Strong affinity for social media, digital culture, and content creation
Experience engaging with or managing online communities
Curious, creative, well-organized, and communicative with a proactive mindset
Basic knowledge of image and video editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, Canva, CapCut)
Passion for analogue photography and/or familiarity with Lomography products is a strong plus
A portfolio showcasing content creation or community engagement work is a strong plus
