Job description

The Digital Asset & Content Production Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and organizing our vast collection of visual assets, which include but are not limited to photographs, illustrations, videos, and graphic designs. This individual will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that all visual assets are up-to-date, easily accessible, and compliant with copyright regulations. Additionally, they are tasked to support community manager in creating content for posting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive visual assets management system that ensures easy retrieval and usage of assets across all departments (graphic materials, product shots, moodshots, sample shots, multimedia assets)

  • Oversee the categorization, naming and filesize of visual assets to streamline search and retrieval processes

  • Being the contact person for questions and training related to visual assets and copyright use

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to identify new visual assets needs

  • Ensure that all newly acquired assets have the appropriate copyright release and usage rights

  • Report any non-copyright compliant images found on Lomography channels

  • Regularly update the visual asset catalogue with the latest assets, removing outdated or irrelevant items

  • Regularly research and write articles on interesting creative photography, art, and pop culture related topics

  • Support the community manager with Multimedia content production & editing

  • Create and maintain product presentation decks

  • Participate in team’s brainstorms and pitch ideas with the Magazine and Community team

  • Create engaging content and ensure a consistent tone of voice

Job requirements

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Graduate of Library Science, Business Administration, Multimedia Arts, Computer Science, Communication Arts or equivalent.

  • Amenable to work onsite and do full-time hours (40 hours per week) 

  • Proficiency with digital asset management software and tools

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a strict and organized system

  • Great communication and ability to work collaboratively

  • Basic knowledge in Photoshop, or any photo editing tools/apps is a plus.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • An interest in/knowledge of analogue photography is a strong plus!
