We are currently seeking a skilled Finance Controller/Manager to oversee our financial and administrational operations in the Philippines and provide support to our regional finance and administration activities across Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions and administrational topics, supporting financial controlling activities, managing cash flows, communicating effectively with our Asia stations and headquarters in Austria and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to make a significant impact within a multinational organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle accounting tasks for the company's operations in Manila, Philippines.
Assist with regional finance controlling activities in Asia, including countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, China, etc.
Support administrational topics related to the subsidiaries in Asia in coordination with local F&A staff and CPAs
Monitor cash flows to ensure optimal financial performance.
Maintain regular communication with F&A teams in Manila, HK and Austria to provide updates, seek guidance, and address any financial concerns.
Support in the preparation and analysis of various financial reports, including sales reports, expenses analysis reports and other key metrics.
Analyse expenses and perform basic cost control and profitability checks
Follow procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Support the preparation of financial statements
Assist with the preparation of financial analysis with the goal to derive recommendations that support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial performance.
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, experience in a supervisory capacity is a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Experience in preparing and analysis of cash flow calculations, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams across different regions and cultures.
Ability and motivation to dive into new regulations and administrational requirements of companies in different countries
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as in ERP and accounting software.
PowerBI knowledge and experience is a clear advantage
Fluency in English; knowledge of Chinese languages is a plus.
